I recently purchased my first custom-built PC at 4300€ and want to ensure it lasts a long time without issues. I've heard that to power it off completely, I need to hold the Shift key or something like that in the shutdown menu. Is that true, or is there something I'm missing? Also, how should I clean it if it gets dusty? Should I be careful about turning it on multiple times a day? I'm really new to this and would appreciate any help or advice!

I usually let my PC sleep after 15 minutes of inactivity. It's okay to leave it in sleep mode for a while. For dust, compressed air works great—just be cautious with the fans and hold them still while you clean!
You can choose to turn off your computer or leave it on; both are fine depending on your preference. Just make sure to dust it every so often, maybe once a year, but it really depends on where you keep it. I usually take mine outside and use an electric duster for a thorough clean.
How many panels do I have to take off to clean? I got the Be Quiet 600 DX.
When it comes to shutting down your PC, just go ahead and turn it off normally, no need for the Shift key trick. You can power it on and off as many times as you want in a day without any issues. For cleaning dust, a can of compressed air is your best bet—just remember to do it with the PC off!
I heard that could lead to corrupted files sometimes. Should I look into getting one of those air dusters?

Sounds good! Thanks for the tip!
