I'm looking to upgrade my PC, which is around 3 years old. My current specs include a Ryzen 5 5600X CPU, a PowerColor RX 6700 GPU, 16GB of 3600MHz RAM, a Gigabyte B550 Gaming X motherboard, and a 600W be quiet! Pure Power 11 PSU. I primarily game at 1080p and want to achieve a noticeable performance boost without spending too much. I'm also concerned about keeping compatibility with my existing PSU. Any advice on what parts I should upgrade?

I've been running a system with a Ryzen 5700X, RX 9070 XT, and a 650W PSU, and it's been great. Just keep in mind that a 600W PSU may struggle with the 9070 XT. The 9060 XT could run perfectly fine on it, though. Make sure whatever you upgrade fits your power supply!
What’s your budget for upgrades? If you want to keep costs down, a GPU upgrade might be a good start. If you're thinking about upgrading the CPU, though, you'd likely need a new motherboard and DDR5 RAM, which can get quite pricey these days.
The Ryzen 5600X is still a solid processor, but if you're looking for a GPU upgrade, consider the RX 9060 XT with 16GB memory. It should work well with your existing PSU. However, if you're interested in something with even more power, the RX 9070 or 9070 XT would be a better option, although they might push your PSU limits. Make sure to assess your actual gaming needs before upgrading!
You could look for a used 5700X or 5800X to get some more cores, especially for games that utilize them. Just remember to check the compatibility with your cooler if you upgrade the CPU, since your current one might not handle a power-hungry chip well.

I think the 9060 XT is decent, but it only offers about a 25% improvement in performance for rasterization. You might be better off saving for a 9070 or 9070 XT if you can wait a bit and want something that can handle ray tracing better.
