Frustrated with My New PC Build – White Screen Crashes and Lag Issues

Hey everyone! I recently built my own PC, using a mainly new setup except for a used RX 6700 XT GPU. However, I'm facing some really frustrating issues that make it feel like a total waste of money.

Here's what's going on:

- When I have multiple tabs or windows open, my screen sometimes goes completely white and even crashes.
- In Counter-Strike 2, I experience high ping along with stuttering and jitters.
- Overall performance just feels underwhelming compared to what I expected.

I've run some diagnostics, and here's what I found:
- FurMark ran without any issues, and the temperatures were normal.
- UserBenchmark indicated my GPU is fine, but my RAM performance is really low (around the 13th percentile), and my CPU is slightly below expected.

I'm uncertain whether this is a RAM issue (maybe I haven't enabled XMP?) or if there's something wrong with my CPU settings or something else entirely. I'd really appreciate any guidance to help me sort this out because I'm feeling rather lost right now.

Just a little tip: I noticed you mentioned UserBenchmark, and I've heard mixed things about that site. Some say it can be biased, so it might not be the most reliable for diagnostics.

It might be a good idea to check your CPU temperatures with software like CoreTemp or HWM while gaming. If those are fine, double-check that your RAM sticks are indeed in slots 2 and 4. You can also test your setup with just one stick of RAM to see if the stuttering persists. Also, ensure that all your drivers are properly installed, especially your BIOS and GPU drivers.

Typically, one of the most common issues in PC builds is the RAM. Are you using RAM that’s on the qualified vendor list? Also, check if you're overclocking your PC. Make sure your BIOS reflects the correct RAM vendor and speed.

Are you connected via Wi-Fi or Ethernet? And is your display connected through the motherboard or solely through the GPU? These can make a difference in performance.

First things first, make sure you're using the right CPU cooler and that you've installed any needed parts like the LGA1700 contact frame if your CPU requires it. Also, check the RAM placement – it should be in the 2nd and 4th slots. And have you updated your BIOS? That’s crucial, especially if you're using a 13th or 14th gen CPU. Highly recommend doing that as soon as possible!
