Game Won’t Start After GPU Change – What Should I Do?

I recently swapped out my RTX 5060 for an RX 9060 XT because I found a good deal on it. While the game was running perfectly with the RTX, it now only shows a black screen and crashes when I try to start it with the new AMD card. I've uninstalled the old drivers and installed the latest AMD ones, and even tried resetting the game settings. I'm wondering if I need to reinstall the game or if there's something else I should try.

I had a similar crash with my RX 9070 XT. I'd recommend trying older drivers like 25.9.2 and also consider underclocking your GPU a bit. That helped fix my crashing issues.

Did you use DDU to completely wipe the old drivers? If you did, I think your next best bet is to reinstall the game. Sometimes the transition between different brands of GPUs can be tricky, especially if remnants of the old drivers are still lurking around.
