Getting an Error When Updating BIOS – Need Help!

I'm trying to update my computer's BIOS, but I keep running into an error saying that the selected file isn't a valid BIOS file. I made sure to rename the file using the software that came with the BIOS update before putting it on my USB drive, which is formatted to FAT32. I'm really confused about what could be going wrong here!

What version is your current BIOS, and what version are you trying to upgrade to? Sometimes incompatibilities arise if the upgrade path isn't correct.

I'm trying to update to version 3287, which was released on 2025/10/27.

If you're using a pre-built OEM system, they often have BIOSes that can only be updated with specific files tailored for that system. It's worth double-checking that you're using the right version for your motherboard model.
