Getting Back into PC Building: Need Your Thoughts on My New Setup!

Hey everyone! After gaming on a laptop for years (I know, it's rough when you're used to desktops), I finally got the motivation and funds to assemble a solid gaming rig again. I want your thoughts on my build list. It's not my first time piecing together a PC, but I feel a bit out of touch since it's been a while. Here's what I've got planned:

**CPU**: AMD Ryzen 7 9800X3D 4.7 GHz 8-Core
**CPU Cooler**: ARCTIC Liquid Freezer III Pro 77 CFM
**Motherboard**: MSI MAG B650 TOMAHAWK WIFI ATX
**Memory**: G.Skill Ripjaws M5 Neo RGB 64 GB DDR5-6000
**Storage**: Kingston KC3000 2.048 TB NVMe SSD
**Video Card**: MSI VENTUS 3X OC PLUS GeForce RTX 5080 16 GB
**Case**: Fractal Design Meshify 3
**Power Supply**: NZXT C1000 1000 W Gold Certified Fully Modular

I'm budgeting around €2,500 but can go a bit higher if it means better performance. I mainly want to play games like Cyberpunk 2077 and others at ULTRA settings in 1440p with 60 FPS, ideally hitting 120 FPS. I also do some Office work, and I have my peripherals and monitor sorted but will add another monitor later. What do you think? Any advice or adjustments to improve this build? Thanks for your help!

Hey! It looks like a solid build overall, but I made some adjustments to help save on costs without sacrificing too much performance. I swapped out your RAM for a non-RGB version to cut some bucks, and switched your cooler to the Liquid Freezer III Pro 360, which already has thermal paste included, so you can skip buying additional paste. Plus, I upgraded your M.2 drive for just a little more. Check out my updated build here: [link]. It's pretty much perfect now!

Nice adjustments! I think going non-RGB for RAM is totally fine if it saves money. And that cooler is a great pick, especially with the included thermal paste. Would love to see the benchmarks once you build it!
