Since I upgraded to Windows 11, I've been having issues with my games crashing on Steam and getting VRAM errors that I never faced on Windows 10. For instance, Rainbow Six Siege crashes unexpectedly, Red Dead Redemption 2 tells me I'm running low on VRAM, and The Finals often crashes with a VRAM error. I also have connection problems with Steam itself. What could be causing this?

It sounds like the update might have messed up some things on your system. One of the best options would be to do a clean install of Windows 11 to see if that resolves the crashes and errors you’re experiencing.
What type of hardware are you running? If you have a 13th or 14th gen Intel processor, there might be degradation issues that Windows 11 is highlighting more than Windows 10 would. On a side note, it does feel like Windows 11 has a lot of quirks.
I totally understand what you're going through! That's why I always recommend keeping a backup of a working image of your system. Updates can go wrong, and it's a pain to troubleshoot which one did it. It might help to search for existing solutions to any update-related problems too.
Honestly, Windows 11 has been a bit rough around the edges for many users. You're not alone in having problems. It's frustrating!
Check if your BIOS is up to date, especially if you have Intel hardware, since some boards have firmware updates that fix VRAM issues. Also, verify your warranty to see if you can RMA any faulty components.

Good idea! Keeping the BIOS updated can really help with performance issues.
