I've been having a strange issue since March 13th when the Rainbow 6 Siege X Beta launched. My PC freezes visually while gaming but the audio keeps going for a bit—usually, I'm in a Discord call or have a video playing. After about twenty seconds, the audio stops too. The RGB in my fans changes to their default white, like ICUE is no longer working. It seems to disconnect me from the internet despite being on Ethernet. When the freeze happens, the PC becomes unresponsive, and I have to hard shut it down, though sometimes it unfreezes after a while. Once, I noticed it was still registering my inputs—like hitting Alt-F4—because when it unfroze, my game had closed and a bunch of pictures opened up. At first, the freezes lasted just a few minutes but they're now growing longer, sometimes up to eleven minutes. I contacted Ubisoft Support and they thought corrupted system files were the problem. After repairing those, it seemed fine during the beta. But now the issue has returned less frequently but is worse, with my monitors also losing signal. Has anyone dealt with something similar and know how to fix it? Here are my PC specs: Intel Core i9-14900K, MSI Geforce RTX 4090 Gaming X Trio, Corsair Vengeance RGB DDR5 32GB 6400 MHz, MSI MEG Z690 Unify Gaming Motherboard. Let me know if you need more info!

Does this happen only with the Rainbow 6 Siege X beta, or does it occur with other games too? It sounds like it could be a GPU driver issue. I recommend checking the Event Viewer for any errors or warnings around the time your PC freezes. You can find it by right-clicking the Windows logo, then going to Event Viewer, and checking both System and Application logs. If it's related to the GPU, look for something like 'nvlddmkm' in the errors.
It was just with the Siege X beta at first, but now it happens with games like Marvel Rivals and League of Legends too. I’ve checked the Event Viewer after the freezes, but there aren’t any errors or warnings, which has made it tough to track down the issue.
