A few months ago, my Apple ID was stolen by a scammer. They changed the password and the trusted phone number, and now I'm completely locked out of my account. I've spoken with a lot of support advisers and I understand that without access to my original phone number, I can't recover my account. I'm asking if anyone else has gone through a similar experience and managed to get their account back. I'm not looking for advice on Apple's policies or security here. Thanks!

You’re asking for help, but honestly, without knowing the original phone number, it’s going to be a challenge. That’s such a fundamental part of the recovery process. You might want to think about alternative solutions.
Honestly, it’s tough to regain access to your account once it’s been compromised like this. It kind of feels like a lost cause since you can’t verify your identity without that phone number. Just a word of caution, you might want to focus on creating a new account and securing it better this time.
Look, it seems pretty unlikely that you’ll get that account back. Once you hand over your details, it’s hard for companies like Apple to verify your claims. The best bet might be to just start fresh and make sure you’ve set up better security protocols this time.
