I'm on the hunt for a budget-friendly and straightforward solution to host images. I came across imgbb.com and wanted to know if anyone has used it before. I'm aware of options like AWS S3 and the complexities that come with blob storage, but my concern here is primarily about the potential issues with imgbb. For instance, does it redirect to ads if you're not a paying customer? Can they delete images unexpectedly, or are there any other drawbacks I should know about?

For serious image hosting needs, cloud storage is your best bet. I suggest Backblaze; it's about $6 per TB, which is way cheaper than AWS and even slightly cheaper than Cloudflare. Definitely a solid option.
ImgBB is great for basic image hosting, but keep in mind that it’s not a CDN. If you're looking for something more robust, I'd recommend sticking with S3 instead.
Yes, they can run ads and delete images if you don't pay. While I haven't heard any stories of them doing it like some other sites do, it’s always a possibility to consider. Also, check out Chevereto if you're looking for alternatives!
Thanks for the tip! I’ll definitely take a look at Chevereto!
