I've been using ChatGPT for a while now, and I've noticed it's struggling to read screenshots that it used to handle easily. Whether it's from mobile apps, Discord chats, or website snippets, it seems to fail a lot more often now. Even when I convert images to standard formats like PNG or JPEG, I still get an error message saying, 'This image is unavailable because it is of an unsupported file type.' It doesn't add up since the images work perfectly on my end. I've tried re-saving, converting, and cropping, but nothing seems to help. Did OpenAI change something in their image processing or OCR recently? I'm really hoping someone has a solution or knows what's going on!

WTF is going on with the image reading? It's a mess right now. I can't even submit clear screenshots without facing issues! What happened?
Same here! I had to switch to another service to get screenshots processed. It seemed like a reliable tool, but now I'm stuck figuring out workarounds. Hopefully, they address this issue soon!
I've noticed the same thing! It used to read my screenshots fine, but now it struggles with even the simplest ones. It's really frustrating if you rely on that feature. I wonder if a recent update affected its image processing capabilities or if it's just a temporary glitch. Let's hope they fix it soon!
Yeah, it's frustrating! I used to translate texts in different languages from screenshots, and now ChatGPT keeps misinterpreting them. I think something definitely broke in the last update and they're working on it, but it's so annoying!
Right? It was such a great feature! I'm hoping they get it figured out quickly.
I read somewhere that they may have tweaked the image handling in a recent update. Fingers crossed they sort it out!
