I recently got an RTX 5070, but I'm having a frustrating issue where I need to restart my PC several times before it actually posts. Here's what I've already tried without any success:
1. Completely uninstalled the graphics drivers using DDU and then did a fresh installation.
2. Updated the BIOS to the latest version (2026).
3. Forced PCIE to boot using Gen 4.
4. Tried switching PCIE to Gen 3 as well.
5. Changed all auto boot settings from Auto to Manual.
6. Disabled Fast Boot.
7. Disabled Resizable BAR.
8. Enabled Resizable BAR.
Nothing in the BIOS seems to be working. I'm tired of having to restart my PC every time I turn it on! Here are my system specs:
- RTX 5070
- 32GB DDR4 3600MHz RAM
- Ryzen 5 5600X
- ASUS ROG Strix B550-F Gaming Motherboard

Have you tried reseating the RAM? Sometimes that can clear up weird boot issues like this.
You might want to check the PCI-E slot for the graphics card. A few years back, I upgraded my GPU and had similar boot issues. I opened GPU-Z and saw my GPU was running at x4 link speed. After blowing out a bit of dust from the slot, it fixed everything.
Have you considered that your power supply might be inadequate? Also, have you tried doing a fresh install of Windows?
Did you manage to get the BIOS updated to the latest version? Sometimes that's crucial for new hardware compatibility.
Yep, I’ve updated to the very latest BIOS, version 2026.

I forgot to mention my power supply is 850W and it works perfectly fine when the PC is up and running. Zero issues while gaming or anything else, just the post that’s the problem.
