I'm a newbie trying to set up the Easypanel dashboard after hearing great things about it. I've installed it on my server, but whenever I try to access it using the server's IP followed by :3000, the page doesn't load and just says the address isn't reachable. I've made sure to open ports 80 and 443 on both my local machine and the server, but that hasn't made a difference. I've checked Easypanel's Discord for support, but didn't find much there. I would really appreciate any insights or advice you might have on what could be going wrong!

Maybe try accessing your server just using the IP without specifying the port?
Before going wild opening ports, make sure you're not creating security vulnerabilities. It might be worth looking into using a reverse proxy to keep things secure!
I’m careful with my setup; the only ports currently open are for my Minecraft server. I'll look into that reverse proxy advice!
This forum is more general for Docker, so expect that people might not have specific knowledge of Easypanel. You might want to share your dockerfile or run commands for better assistance—those details can really help others to help you!
I appreciate the suggestion! I’ll try to gather that info—I’m just a bit lost since I’m still learning!
It sounds like your server is remote, and just opening ports 80 and 443 won't give you access to port 3000. You need to open port 3000 specifically to access Easypanel. Hope that helps!
Got it! I'm currently at work, but I'll give it a shot when I'm back home. Thanks for letting me know!
Regarding those ports, did you open them on the server itself or on your router? Just double-check that!
If you want to avoid port issues altogether, consider using a tool like Tailscale. It’ll give you a secure way to access your server without messing with router settings.
Good to know, I already set up Twingate for remote access. Sounds similar!
When I do that, it just takes me to my router's login page.
