Having Trouble Booting from USB on My New PC

Hey everyone! I recently built my first PC and I'm excited to get started, but I'm running into a problem. I created a bootable USB drive using the Windows Media Creation Tool for Windows 11, but when I start up my PC and go into the BIOS, it doesn't recognize the USB drive. I've already disabled secure boot and fast boot, but still no luck. My specs are: Ryzen 5 7600x CPU, 32GB of 600MHz DDR5 RAM, RX 9060XT GPU, and an Asrock B650M Pro RS WiFi motherboard. Any help would be greatly appreciated because I'm pretty stuck!

If all else fails, try a different USB drive or port; sometimes compatibility can be an issue. Also, double-check your BIOS settings and look for anything related to USB boot priorities and ensure they are set correct. It could just be a simple setting that's off!

Just to double-check, make sure you actually ran the Media Creation Tool correctly and created a bootable USB drive, rather than just copying the tool itself onto it. Also, try using a USB port directly on the motherboard instead of a front panel port. Once you turn on your PC and enter the BIOS, check the boot menu again; this might help your drive show up!

I definitely used the Media Creation Tool properly and not just copied it over. Right now, my USB drive is connected to the USB 3.2 port on the motherboard, so I'm hoping that should work.

Make sure the USB drive is formatted correctly and is set up as GPT if your motherboard is UEFI-based. Sometimes the BIOS settings might need a little tweak; check to see if there's an option for legacy USB support that you can enable. That might help your BIOS recognize the drive!
