I'm having some trouble changing my password on my phone. Everything is working fine with my internet, my phone is fully updated, and I'm not using a VPN. However, when I tap 'change password' and try to use Face ID, absolutely nothing happens – no popups, no loading, just silence! I'm feeling pretty confused and would appreciate any help.

If you're in an unfamiliar location, there's something called Stolen Device Protection that may kick in. This feature can impose a security delay of about an hour, so if you're in a different place than usual, that's something to consider.
I wonder what you mean by being in an 'unfamiliar place.' Are you trying this while traveling, or just in a different part of your home?
