Hey everyone, I just set up my Ryzen 9950X3D, but I'm running into a serious issue with the graphics drivers. Whenever I try to install the official drivers made for this APU, I keep getting error code 182, which states that my graphics hardware isn't supported. This is odd since the drivers are specifically designed for this chip. Here are my system specs:
- **Computer Type:** Desktop
- **GPU:** MSI RTX 4090 Suprim
- **CPU:** RYZEN 9950X3D
- **Motherboard:** MSI X670E Godlike
- **BIOS Version:** 7D68v1J2
- **RAM:** 4x16GB Corsair Dominator Platinum 5600MHz (running @ 3600MHz)
- **PSU:** Corsair 1500W HXI
- **Case:** Cooler Master Cosmos
- **Operating System:** Windows 10 Pro
- **Nvidia GPU Drivers:** 576.80
- **Chipset Drivers:** AMD X670E Chipset Drivers Version 2.56.1
I've checked my BIOS settings, and the GPU section of the processor is enabled. I've also tried different driver versions and used the auto-detect software, but I keep hitting that same error. Does anyone have ideas on how to resolve this?

Have you tried downloading the latest AMD chipset drivers? I found a newer version that might work better for your setup. Here’s the link for the chipset drivers: [AMD Chipset Drivers](https://download.msi.com/dvr_exe/mb/amd_chipset_drivers_am4_am5.zip). Make sure your BIOS is up to date, too, just in case that’s causing issues.
You might want to check if the onboard GPU is disabled in the BIOS. Sometimes, if it’s enabled, it can cause driver conflicts with the dedicated GPU. Double-check that setting, and if it’s not the problem, you could also try updating to the newest BIOS version if there’s one available for your motherboard.
Just checked, and it’s not disabled. I’ll look into updating the BIOS next.
Just curious, why do you need the drivers for the integrated GPU? Are you planning to use it for something specific? Also, just confirm you’re downloading from the official AMD support page, as that’s usually the safest bet for the correct drivers.
I did download them from the official support page. I’m using the APU's iGPU for some productivity tasks.
I already have both driver versions installed, but I appreciate the suggestion!
