I've experienced this odd situation a few times where I hear someone typing, talking in a different language, and clicking a mouse through my headphones. This has occurred about 4-5 times over the last couple of years. Importantly, I still hear these sounds even after closing all applications on my PC. When I try to communicate, the person on the other end doesn't respond at all. The only way to stop the noise is to restart my computer. I'm starting to worry that something might be seriously wrong with my setup. Also, just for context, I upgraded all my PC parts about two years ago, avoid shady websites, and I reset my computer when moving houses, yet this issue popped up again a few months ago.

Have you considered doing a factory reset already? I would have done that ages ago if I were in your shoes. Sounds like the safest bet.
That sounds really creepy! I would definitely recommend doing a fresh install of Windows. It might help clear up any odd issues you're facing with your setup.
I did reset it, but I'm not sure if I chose a clean install. Maybe that’s why it didn’t fix the problem.
