I'm getting ready to deploy a new printer but accidentally updated the shared printer driver for our Canon printer, despite unchecking the option to update. Now, all the workstations are prompting with "New Driver" and asking if I trust the printer. When I try to print a test page, Windows says it needs to install the driver from the server to proceed.
I attempted to transfer the INF file from my computer to the server, but I'm running into permission issues with the INF folder on the server. Honestly, I'm not even sure if that was the right thing to do in the first place. Here are the details:
