I'm having a frustrating issue with my external USB hard drives and SD cards. They work perfectly fine on my Macbook, but when I try to access them on my Windows PC, I get the message that the drives are not accessible, and access is denied. I've followed every guide I could find, trying to take ownership and access them, but nothing seems to work. I've tackled everything from advanced security settings to command prompts, but I keep hitting a wall with access denied errors. I'm completely at a loss here and would really appreciate any help to solve this problem!

If those drives are NTFS formatted and still don’t work, maybe try connecting them to another PC if possible. It can help identify if the problem lies with your current setup or something deeper with the drives themselves. By the way, did this issue start happening after upgrading to Windows 11?
I’ve run into a similar situation before. Sometimes changing the drive letters in Windows Disk Management can clear up conflicts that lead to access errors. It’s worth a shot if you haven’t tried that yet!
It sounds like your drives might be formatted with a file system that Windows can't read. Have you checked if they're using Mac's APFS or HFS? If they were formatted on a Mac, that could definitely be the issue. Also, ensure you’re using good USB cables or connectors.
