I just updated my GIGABYTE BIOS to the latest version and enabled secure boot and PTT, with CSM turned off. Now, whenever I start my computer, I'm stuck on a screen asking me to set up my PIN, but it just loops back to that same screen after attempting to process it. I've gone through the WinRE command prompt and tried some registry edits along with following specific steps for system and software, even attempted a BIOS downgrade and reinstalled Windows (without wiping data), but nothing has worked. I don't have a restore point to go back to either. I'm completely at a loss here and I'm hoping for some guidance. I really want to avoid a full Windows reinstall that wipes everything if I can help it!

It sounds like the BIOS update might have messed with how your PIN is linked to your system. The PIN relies on the TPM (Trusted Platform Module) for security, and BIOS updates can sometimes reset it or cause hiccups with the connection to Windows. Your best bet is to try accessing your Microsoft account. If you’re signed in, try using the "Forgot Password" option on the login screen to reset your password—this might get you back into your account without having to do a full system wipe! Good luck!
Yeah, I’ve heard similar stories about Windows 11 after BIOS updates. Just to add, make sure you do have a regular password set as well. If your PC's tied to your Microsoft account, your password should be the same as that one. If you can log in with your account password, you could at least get into Windows and troubleshoot from there without losing your data. But if it doesn’t work, you might need to resort to a full reinstall. Fingers crossed it doesn’t come to that!
I appreciate the advice! I’m hoping I can workaround this without a full reinstall.

Thanks, I did check that but couldn’t find a reset option for my password. Still, I’ll keep looking!
