I just built my first PC from scratch, and while it boots up and everything seems fine, I'm having trouble getting Windows to boot from my M.2 drive. I have an MSI B850 Tomahawk motherboard and an SX8200 PRO M.2 NVMe PCIe 1TB drive, and they should be compatible. After installing Windows, I'm unable to boot from the drive. I've spent hours troubleshooting without any success. I've already tried switching the M.2 slots and reinstalling Windows multiple times, both on the PC and from a flash drive. Any suggestions on what I could do to fix this?

Have you checked the BIOS settings? Try booting into BIOS (usually by pressing F2, F10, F12, or Delete during startup) and look for the boot devices. You might need to change the boot option to recognize your NVMe drive.
You might also want to change the boot mode select to UEFI—that helped me before!
I've been installing Windows for 20 years, so trust me when I say that the process can get tricky. Make sure you're following all the steps carefully. If you’re still struggling, take a break and maybe watch some troubleshooting videos online for a fresh perspective.
Oh, okay, I'll check some videos out!
Sounds good, I'm gonna sleep now. Let's talk more tomorrow!
It won't show up under boot devices. I can only see the M.2 drive under system information.
