I'm using an HP laptop and just switched from Linux Mint (where everything was working great) to Windows 10. I've installed the network adapters, but I'm not able to see any Wi-Fi networks to connect to. I also deleted my Linux partition to make room for Windows, and now I'm stuck without an internet connection to figure things out. I've tried the troubleshooting tool but it hasn't helped at all. I'm out of town for a couple weeks with limited resources—just my laptop and a flash drive. Any advice on what I can do? Also, my trackpad isn't working but I suspect that's linked to the network issues.

It sounds like your network drivers might not be installed properly. You should try downloading them on another device if you can and then transfer them to your laptop using the flash drive. Once you have the correct drivers, installing them should fix the Wi-Fi issue!
If you’re getting a message saying no drivers are installed, double-check which drivers you’re downloading. You’ll specifically want the Windows 10 Intel Network Adapter Driver for your model.
Make sure you check the manufacturer’s site for the latest drivers. Sometimes, Windows doesn’t install them automatically when you switch operating systems. You might need the chipset drivers too, which can include support for the trackpad.
Good call! I’ll look for those chipset drivers as well.
Alright, thanks for the tip! It's a bit of a hassle, but I guess I'll give it a shot.
