I'm 19 and trying to build my PC right now. I recently updated the BIOS on my MSI 550 A Pro motherboard because I'm using a Ryzen 5600 CPU. Everything seemed to go well with that, but I'm stuck trying to remove the big power cable—I'm not sure if it's the 22-pin or 24-pin connector. I've been pressing the clasp to release it, but it won't budge at all! The only thing that seems to move is the motherboard itself, and I haven't installed it in the case yet. I'm really worried I might mess something up. Does anyone have any tips to help me get it out?

Yeah, that power cable can be a pain! I'd recommend using a dry washcloth to get a better grip. Just remember to pull really hard while making sure to brace your other hand against the back of the motherboard to prevent too much flexing.
It's common to struggle with that! Just try to wiggle it out slowly and make sure you're pulling on the connector itself, not just the wires. It can be a little stubborn for sure.

Totally! Bracing the motherboard really helps. It's tough, but you've got to really yank on it sometimes.
