Hey everyone, I'm really struggling here. I've got a Lenovo Ideapad 339s equipped with a Ryzen 32200u, and I'm trying to get Ubuntu installed. Unfortunately, whenever I attempt to start it from the USB, the screen just goes black and nothing happens. I've tried a few commands but haven't had any luck. I'm almost at the final step of the installation, but as soon as I hit enter, that black screen appears and it just hangs there. I'm at a loss for what to do next!

Have you made sure to disable secure boot in the BIOS settings? Sometimes that can cause installation issues with Linux.
I've dealt with similar compatibility challenges when installing Ubuntu before. If it helps, you might want to consider installing Linux Mint instead. It could save you a lot of hassle with what seems to be a broken setup.
It's also worth checking how your boot media is configured. Make sure it's set to the right mode, either legacy or UEFI. Sometimes, the system won’t boot from USB if it can't read the boot table correctly. Just make sure it’s allowed in the BIOS.
First off, can you share which commands you've run? It might help us pinpoint the issue. If you hit the terminal icon in the Ubuntu installer, what do you see? Or did you not even reach the installer stage at all?
