Help! Can’t Install Windows 11 from USB Drive

I've just built my first PC and I'm trying to install Windows 11 using a USB stick. However, I'm running into an issue where it says, "Windows 11 can't be installed on this drive." I see two different drives listed, but I'm not sure what to do since I've never installed an operating system before. Can anyone guide me on how to fix this issue?

It sounds like you might be trying to install Windows on a drive that's not set up correctly. Make sure that the drive you want to install Windows on is properly partitioned and meets the minimum space requirements. If it's a brand new build, you might need to use the diskpart tool to set up your partitions correctly before starting the installation again.

Just to clarify, if you're seeing an error about setup not supporting installation on USB drives, it might be because your BIOS settings are off or the USB isn't recognized as a valid installation medium. Make sure everything is plugged in correctly and consider looking up how to configure your BIOS settings.

Check if the drives listed are the USB stick and the target drive. If you're inadvertently trying to install Windows on the USB stick, it won't work. Ensure you're selecting the correct internal drive for the installation.
