I just factory reset my iPhone 6s and now I'm stuck trying to sign in to my old Apple ID. I've already fixed the time and date on my phone, updated to iOS 15.8.4, and changed my Apple ID password, but I still can't log in. It keeps giving me messages about not being able to verify the action. I'm really frustrated with this situation and just need some help!

You have a few steps you can try: First, ensure you have iTunes installed on your PC or Mac. It should be from Apple’s site, not the Microsoft Store version since that can have issues. Log into your Apple ID on a web browser and remove your iPhone from the list of devices. Then, put your phone in DFU mode (not recovery mode) and reinstall iOS using iTunes. If that's too much, it might be best to take it to an Apple service center.

If you're having trouble with the Microsoft Store, it might be easier to try a different PC or find a friend who has iTunes installed. But yeah, it’s key to get the right version of iTunes for this to work.

Do I need iTunes or Apple Devices on my Windows laptop? I’ve tried downloading them from the Microsoft store, but it keeps redirecting me to another tab saying my browser is out of date. I’ve updated both Chrome and Edge, but no luck. I’m pretty lost here.

Just wanted to let you know that I ended up fixing the problem by factory resetting my phone again. It worked like a charm after that! Hope you get it sorted out too!

Hey there! First, take a deep breath. Have you enabled two-factor authentication on your Apple ID? If so, you might need to confirm the sign-in on another device. If it’s still not working, let’s explore some options you might consider.
