I've been debating whether to upgrade my GeForce 2070, mainly because I play League of Legends and Path of Exile 2. Occasionally, I might play a couple of other games like COD or Battlefield for a month or two each year. I'm trying to decide between the NVIDIA 5070 or saving some cash with the 9060 XT. I want to game at 1440p, so which would be the better option?

The 9060 XT 16GB seems to have a good balance of price and performance based on what I've heard. For your usage, it might be a solid choice.
In my experience, PoE2 is much more CPU-bound than GPU-bound. I’ve got a 4070 Ti, but with an older CPU, performance was still choppy at 4K with that game. I really doubt you'll have any issues with League at 1440p, regardless of which graphics card you choose.
What CPU are you currently using? Knowing that can really help with the decision on the GPU.
