I'm in the early stages of building a budget gaming PC and I'm torn between two motherboards. My top choice is MSI, as I've had great experiences with their products in the past. The motherboards I'm considering are the MSI Pro B850M-A Wifi and the ASRock AMD B850M Pro RS WiFi. I plan to use either an AMD Ryzen 7 7700X or an AMD Ryzen 7 9700X for the CPU. I'd love some advice on which motherboard to go for!

Honestly, both motherboards use the same chipset and have built-in wifi, so performance should be pretty similar. I'd suggest checking out the quality of their VRMs, and then just go with the one that you like better for the build!
If it were me, I'd definitely pick the MSI without a second thought! I've heard of quite a few issues with ASRock motherboards, especially with burnt chips. Better safe than sorry, right?
I've been an MSI fanboy since my first PC build back in 2004, so I'm a bit biased, but I’d say go with MSI. They’ve always treated me well!
I think I'm in the same boat as you! I'm leaning towards MSI too, mainly because of all the good things I've heard from others.
