Help Choosing Components for My First Build

Hey everyone! I'm new to building PCs and I'm looking for some advice. I'm in Colombia, and prices here are a bit high. I'm considering using a Sapphire Pulse 9070 (with 2 fans) because it performs great at my monitor's resolution.

Here's what I'm trying to figure out: should I go with AM5 and get a 7600x CPU (around $180 - $190), paired with a basic B650 motherboard, 16 GB of RAM (maybe with plans to upgrade to 2x16 GB later), and 1 TB storage? Or should I choose AM4 with a 5700x and later upgrade to a 5700x3D or 5800x3D, using a B550 board (like a ROG Strix F WiFi II or Tomahawk Max WiFi), along with 32 GB of RAM (2x16)? I'm also planning to get a reliable 650W power supply from brands like Corsair, Thermaltake, or MSI. My total budget is around 5.5 million COP, which is about $1,200 - $1,300. Any advice or suggestions on component combinations would be appreciated!

Definitely go with AM5! It's more future-proof, and you won’t regret it later when better CPUs come out. The 7600x is a great pick. You might save even more by checking out the 7400F, which is also a solid choice if you find it for a good price. The power supply brands you mentioned are reliable, so you should be set there!

Going with AM5 sounds like a solid plan! A B650 board will work well with any AM5 CPU, so you don’t need to stress about that. If you're looking to save some cash, consider the 7500F as a cheaper alternative. For RAM, 16 GB is decent for now, and you can always upgrade later. You might want to check out the 9060XT, but if the price difference to the 9070 isn't huge, the 9070 is definitely worth it!

I thought about the 9060XT too, but given the performance, the 9070 seems like the better investment! Starting with 16 GB is totally fine for now; you can always add more later if you need.
