I'm gearing up to install Pop!_OS on my HP laptop, but I'm a bit confused about the drive options. When I get to the part of the installation where I have to choose a drive, I see two intel drives with similar names, but only differing by one letter or number. One drive has 400 GB, and the other has 28 GB. Can anyone help me figure out which drive I should be installing on? How much space do I actually need?

It sounds like you might be trying to install it on your internal drive. Typically, the 28 GB one could be a USB flash drive if that's what you used to install Pop!_OS. The 400 GB drive is likely your internal hard drive, which is where you want to install the OS.
Yeah, if you're not planning to dual boot and using 30 GB for the installation media, go with the 400 GB drive. That's definitely your internal storage and should have plenty of space for Pop!_OS!
