Hey everyone! I'm a bit lost when it comes to graphics cards and their features. I'm looking to build a PC that can handle the latest AAA games with decent graphics and solid frame rates. I'm also interested in playing strategy games and indie titles. I've come across a few budget-friendly options: the RTX 4060, RTX 5060, RX 9060 XT, and Intel Arc B570. Could someone break down which of these would be the best fit for my needs in simple terms, along with their pros and cons? Thanks a ton!

What resolution are you planning to play at? If you're looking for the most affordable options, the cheaper one is usually best unless you're aiming for top performance.

I think 1080p would work perfectly for me. 🙂

Definitely go for the RX 9060 XT! It's a solid pick.

The RX 9060 XT is currently a great value choice! It should let you play any game smoothly at 1080p or even 1440p without any issues.

Make sure to go for the 16GB version for the best experience!

Quick tip: the naming of these cards can be a bit confusing. The first number usually indicates the generation, while the other numbers clue you into performance level. For gaming, I'd actually lean towards AMD for better value. Just consider your resolution and frame rate needs when choosing!

Thanks for that breakdown, it's super helpful! I find it tough to find simplified guides on GPUs sometimes. And yeah, 1080p is what I'll be playing at.

For graphics cards over $300, you should aim for at least 12GB of VRAM, so that rules out the 4060 and 5060. The 16GB RX 9060 XT performs much better than the Intel options, so stick with the AMD card unless the Intel ones are significantly cheaper.
