I'm having a frustrating issue where a command prompt window shows up every time I boot my PC and deletes all my browser data. Thankfully, my Firefox account sync saved most of my data, but I'm worried about losing my custom settings. This started happening after I messed around with an MSI file I downloaded from the Internet Archive. I'm not very experienced with MSI files, and when I ran the installer, I canceled it almost immediately after starting. Despite creating a restore point, the command prompt still appears on boot. I've also recently installed 'lessmsi' through Chocolatey, which might be related. I could use some help figuring out what caused this and whether there's any way to recover my deleted browser data or stop the CMD from launching on startup. Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

You should download Autoruns from the official Microsoft website. It will show you all the startup processes and let you see what's triggering that command prompt. Once you find it, you can disable it easily. Good luck!
It might help to sort the entries by 'Image Path' to find anything related to the lessmsi installation or anything added recently.
Thanks for the suggestion! I have Autoruns, but I'm not sure which entries are the culprits. Should I just disable all the red-highlighted items?
