Hey everyone! I'm looking for some help with my PC which has been acting up lately. I built it back in 2020 and it has the following specs: an i7-10700 CPU running at 2.90GHz with 8 cores, 32GB of DDR4 RAM, a GeForce RTX 3060 12GB GDDR6 GPU, and a Z490 Aorus motherboard. I recently moved and just set up my PC again after using a laptop for about 4 months.
I made sure to update Windows and the GPU drivers and checked for any corrupt files which were repaired. I don't think I need any BIOS updates. However, I've been experiencing performance spikes in Task Manager, especially with just the Arc Browser open. These spikes happen roughly every minute and make my mouse jumpy, making it tough to click or select anything. I switched browsers from Brave to Chrome to Arc, but the issue is still persistent and makes gaming pretty much impossible. AVG found nothing, and I ran a memory test with y-cruncher, which seemed okay.
I'd really appreciate any help or suggestions to get this sorted out!

It seems like your latency might be linked to the Nvidia drivers. I had similar issues where the drivers were causing performance drops and even crashes. I’d suggest trying to roll back your drivers to a previous version to see if that makes a difference.
If nothing else works, you might want to ensure that your BIOS is up to date. Sometimes, an outdated BIOS can lead to strange issues like the ones you're experiencing. Make sure you've backed up your files, just in case!
Have you checked your Task Manager while the latency is happening? It might help to see which processes spike during those moments. I’ve noticed that with browsers, sometimes other background apps can cause conflicts. It could be worth keeping an eye on that.
