I'm considering upgrading my setup and I'm curious about the potential bottleneck between my Nvidia 5070ti graphics card and my 11th Gen Intel Core i7-11700 processor running at 2.5GHz. It's been a while since my last upgrade, and I'd love to hear from anyone with more experience on this. I primarily play CPU-intensive games at 1440p resolution. To really see a noticeable boost, you might need to get a new motherboard and probably switch to DDR5 RAM. Just curious, what's your budget looking like for this upgrade?
I hadn't considered DDR5, I've got 32GB of DDR4 right now, and I'm looking to spend about £500-600 max. I'm trying to avoid buying new RAM if I can.
