I'm trying to do a fresh install of Windows 11 from a USB drive on my new Acer Predator Orion 5000 PO5-660. I used the Microsoft Media Creation Tool to set it up, but every time I try to boot from the USB, I get an error that says, "Reboot and select proper boot device or insert boot media in selected device and press a key." I've already tried several troubleshooting steps:
1. Disabled secure boot.
2. Enabled the boot menu.
3. Used different USB ports on the PC.
4. Bought a brand new USB stick and tried again.
Nothing seems to be working, and I've never encountered this issue with any prebuilt computer before. Any advice would be appreciated!

Have you checked in your BIOS if the USB drive is set as the boot device? Sometimes it can be tricky finding the right option. Make sure that options for other devices are disabled so it only tries to boot from the USB. If it doesn't show up, it might not be recognized properly by the system.
You might want to try re-downloading the Windows 11 image and creating the USB again using the Media Creation Tool, just in case there was an issue with the first download. It can happen occasionally.
If you’re familiar with Rufus, make sure to check the 'Create a bootable disk using' option is set to ISO Image and that your USB is marked as bootable. If Rufus isn't cooperating, Balena Etcher is also user-friendly and might do the trick!
Using Rufus or Balena Etcher to create your bootable USB could work better. Just make sure when you set up Rufus that you choose the Windows ISO file you downloaded. If Rufus gives errors, try a different USB stick or port, or even running it as an administrator.
