I recently rebuilt my PC in a new case and I'm facing an issue. My MSI A320M Gaming Pro motherboard has four LED indicators to signal problems, and the first LED is red, which according to the manual indicates a CPU issue. During the first boot, the LED was red, then it flickered and went off, allowing me to see the BIOS loading screen for a brief moment before turning off again and lighting up red once more.
I'm using the motherboard's 8 PIN CPU connector with two 4-PIN cables, and I'm not sure if this was the setup before the rebuild. There's also a 6-PIN connector, but it doesn't fit properly. The CPU I have is a low-power Ryzen 3 2200G. What steps can I take to resolve this?

First off, check where those two 4 PIN cables are plugged into your PSU. If it's not modular, it can be tricky. Sometimes older PSUs don’t provide stable power, so that could lead to your CPU not booting properly. If you've removed the GPU and booted with just one RAM stick and the red LED changed, it seems there’s a connection issue somewhere. I’d recommend re-seating the CPU and its cooler as well, just to be safe.
Sounds like a connection issue indeed! Ensure that all your power cables are secure. If the PSU is old, it might not be providing enough power. Also, try using the 6-PIN connector if that’s all that fits; just make sure the CPU is compatible. If that doesn’t work, you might need to test with a different PSU, if possible.
