My grandma, who has some limitations with sight and hearing, lost her iPhone, and we later discovered that it was wedged in her recliner. Now the phone shows 'iPhone Unavailable,' and we've tried rebooting it to no avail. My husband has power of attorney for her, but we're really in a bind here since all her important passwords—like banking and email—are saved on that phone. The biggest issue is that we can't get into her Apple account, and when we try to access her Gmail, it requires a code that's sent to her phone, so we can't reset her Apple password either. I'm able to connect the phone to my computer, but accessing it requires me to select 'trust this device' on the iPhone, which we can't do since the phone is locked. We're considering a full reset, but we fear that will delete all her saved passwords. We did have her passwords written down securely, but they've been misplaced during her recent moves. Is there any way around this situation?
