Hey everyone, I'm really lost here. I made a series of mistakes while trying to fix issues on my Windows 11 that have spiraled out of control. It all started a few weeks ago when I attempted to move Minecraft from my C: drive to my A: drive, which caused corruption. When I tried to repair the game, I realized I had backed up the wrong world folder, and now all my Bedrock worlds are gone.
In a panic, I decided to do a system restore, but it couldn't access 'windowsapps', so I attempted to grant myself permission to access it. Instead, I mistakenly renamed it to 'windows.old'. Sadly, the system restore failed, so I tried reinstalling Windows 11. After clearing just enough space for the reinstall, I ran into so many issues:
- Many apps aren't functioning properly: stuff like the troubleshoot utility and the weather app (which I sort of fixed by reinstalling, but it won't work as a widget on my desktop).
- My headphones only get recognized if I restart the PC with them plugged in; otherwise, it's like they don't exist. I've tried reinstalling audio drivers, but the PC only recognizes the speakers even with a working headset.
Most games seem to run fine, but I'm worried about potential future issues. I'm really at my wit's end; any help would be greatly appreciated! By the way, I did manage to resolve the headphone issue by uninstalling the Waves audio app that wouldn't open.

Not to throw shade, but when you were saying you cleared space for a fresh install, it confused me. Typically you would format the drive during a fresh install, which wipes everything. Just so you know, if you used the ISO from Microsoft, it usually gives you that option to keep your files, so maybe that was part of the confusion?
It sounds like you've gone through a lot! Just a heads up—making changes to your BIOS or disk setup can risk data loss, so it's always good to back up your files before making those changes. I recommend checking out some official FAQ threads for more insights; they might hold the key to some of your issues.
