Help! I Bought a Used Samsung Tablet and It’s Asking for a Login

I recently bought a used Samsung S9 FE Plus tablet from someone on Facebook Marketplace. When I got home and connected it to Wi-Fi, it prompted me with a message related to Samsung Knox management, asking for a login. I'm a bit lost—can I fix this, or did I just get scammed? Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated since I'm not sure what my options are.

Have you tried doing a factory reset? That might clear things up, but just a heads up, you may need to reach out to the seller for help, since it might be tied to their account.

Honestly, it sounds like it might be a business tablet which could be locked for security purposes. If that’s the case, you might have been scammed. I found a link discussing similar issues; you can check it out for more info.

One way to get around the issue is to set up the tablet without connecting it to the internet. You can complete the minimal setup without adding any accounts, and once you’re past that, you can go online and configure your accounts.
