Hey everyone! I'm in a bit of a bind and could really use your advice. I linked my PSN account to a Ubisoft account when I was younger (I'm 16 now) and have pumped over 120 hours into Rainbow Six Siege, with a lot of cool skins. Recently, I accidentally disconnected my PSN from my Ubisoft account and now can't log back in. The tricky part is that the email associated with my Ubisoft account is an old Gmail account that I no longer have access to. I've tried reaching out to Ubisoft Support multiple times, providing them with various proof like my old and new PSN usernames, a receipt for a R6 purchase, trophies, and console screenshots, but they still say they can't verify my claim. I'm super frustrated! I even filed a complaint with CNIL under GDPR, hoping to get some help. Has anyone else gone through something similar? Any tips on recovering an account without access to the old email? Is there anyone in Ubisoft support who can lend me a hand? Thanks a lot!

Honestly, Ubisoft tends to be pretty rigid with their policies. The security measures they have in place can sometimes feel like overkill. Just keep trying, but don't get your hopes too high based on past experiences with them.
It's a tough situation, I feel for you. Unfortunately, support might not be able to help you since they really stick to strict security protocols. If you didn't have access to the email to verify your identity, then they can't just take your word for it. It's about protecting accounts from unauthorized access, which is fair. Have you considered trying to regain access to that old Gmail account? That might be your best bet.
If you haven't already, it may help to gather more data to prove you are who you say you are. Maybe try providing more purchase receipts or even details about when you last logged in and from which device. The more info you provide, the better your chances, even though it might seem like a lot. It's frustrating, but they need solid proof to avoid any account takeovers. Good luck!
Thanks so much! I had no idea they needed so much detail. I'll dig through what I can and see if I can gather more proof.
Thanks for your input! I totally get the security stuff. The email was created ages ago, and getting back into it has been a hassle. I've already attempted the recovery process but got nowhere. Just hoping Ubisoft can be more flexible!
