I've got a file named AlmaruricsApplication that I don't remember downloading at all. I can't seem to end it through Task Manager, and it won't let me delete it because it's running. I've run scans with Malwarebytes and Windows Defender, but neither of them identifies it as malware, yet I really want it gone!

You could also try uploading the file to VirusTotal to see if it gets flagged by any other antivirus programs. Might give you some insight into what you're dealing with!
That file sounds suspicious. Try booting your computer into safe mode and see if you can rename the folder it's located in. After that, reboot and check if anything's broken. It's probably just some annoying crapware.
If you're still having trouble, consider installing PowerToys. There's a utility in it that could help you manage files that are stubborn to delete.
Have you checked if it has an associated service running? You might be able to stop the service and then delete the file.
