Help with Graphics Issues on My PC

I'm experiencing a frustrating problem with my PC setup. I have an RTX 5080 graphics card, 2x DDR5 RAM, and an MSI Tomahawk B850 Max WiFi motherboard. About every 7 to 15 times I start my computer, I'll see graphics artifacts as soon as I enter my password, and the audio stutters. It feels like I'm running on 1 FPS! The only fix I've found is to restart the PC, and then it works fine for another 7 to 15 startups before the issue pops up again. Does anyone know what's going on?

Have you tried any troubleshooting steps yet? If you’ve already done a DDU, BIOS update, and Windows update, then we might need to look deeper. By the way, your Ryzen 7 9800X3D should handle most tasks fine, so it's definitely odd you're facing this. Maybe check for any overheating issues or hardware conflicts.

It sounds like your GPU might have a problem. I recommend doing a clean install of your graphics drivers using DDU. The issues with artifacts and low frame rates often indicate a faulty GPU. Also, the audio stuttering might be linked to driver issues or possibly high CPU usage. If you have an onboard graphics option, try using that to see if the artifacts and stuttering persist.
