I've been having a frustrating issue with my Galaxy S22 for the past couple of days. Whenever I try to open a PDF, it just shows a weird list of apps instead of the usual PDF readers. None of these apps are able to open the PDFs, which is really inconvenient. I haven't installed any new apps that seem suspicious, so I'm confused about what's going on. I've even tried resetting the app preferences, but that didn't help. Is this a bug, or is it something wrong with my phone?

I get your frustration! I have Adobe's PDF viewer too but I block internet access using a firewall with my custom ROM. Honestly, it’s probably not smart to use random apps for PDFs. Stick with the well-known ones!
Yeah, I understand your concerns but I’m just trying to figure out what’s wrong with my phone right now.
Hey! Which PDF reader do you have installed on your phone? Personally, I use Adobe Reader and it works perfectly fine. Though, I do find the constant login prompts super annoying. Just curious if that’s the app you’re using too?
I usually use Drive PDF Viewer. It's been working great until now, so I have no idea why it's acting up all of a sudden.
I run a custom ROM that blocks internet access for new apps. Adobe's insistence on logging into an account can be annoying, but I guess it keeps things safer.
I get your point, but I didn't install any sketchy files, so I don't see why I'd need to block internet access for Adobe. I just want to get my PDFs open!
