I've been trying to regain access to my Epic Games account, which I've owned since I registered years ago while living in Erbil, Iraq. Back then, my account was set to the USA, but I've always accessed it from my PC here in Iraq. There's no way this account isn't mine; I have never shared it with anyone. My first game was GTA V, and I even remember all my old display names, including one in Arabic. I've sent them my invoice IDs as proof of ownership. Despite providing all this evidence, Epic Games has denied my recovery requests three times now. My third appeal is currently with them, but I'm starting to feel really hopeless. I'm just looking for any advice or if anyone has been through a similar situation. I just want my account back, especially since I've invested both time and money into it. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

If you're not getting anywhere with their support, maybe try reaching out on social media. Tag them on Twitter and explain your situation. Companies hate to see bad publicity and might prioritize your case more if they feel pressure on public platforms.
Honestly, it's tough trying to recover an account when the service itself is unyielding. Reddit might not be able to solve this for you, but you should definitely keep appealing to their support with more evidence, if you have it. Also, if you haven't tried calling them directly, it could be worth it. Sometimes speaking to someone can make a difference.
Yeah, I agree calling them could help. Companies often respond better when they hear a real voice instead of just getting emails. Good luck!
It sounds like a frustrating situation. While Reddit can't really help you recover your account, just keep pushing through the appeals. If it's truly yours, they should recognize that eventually, as long as you continue providing all the necessary evidence. Don’t lose hope!
That's a solid idea! They've got a reputation to keep, so they might just take your issue seriously that way.
