I recently purchased a MacBook Air M4 as part of a student offer, and also added AirPods Pro 3rd Gen for an extra ₹8,000 due to a combo discount. I opted for free engraving, which delayed my AirPods' pickup until October 19th. After collecting my MacBook on October 1st, I was notified by Apple that my AirPods were ready for pickup on October 16th, but my order was subsequently canceled on October 21st. Now, I've only received a credit note for ₹8,000, which is the amount I paid for the AirPods, but I'm really frustrated because I feel like I'm owed an additional ₹18,000 refund from the total cost. I contacted customer care, but they insists the refund is limited to the ₹8,000. Has anyone experienced something similar with Apple in India? Should I take this to consumer court or use E-Daakhil to resolve it?

I agree with the others. You got what you paid for, and the refund is for the item you didn’t get. They wouldn’t refund you more than that amount. It’s not a loss since you still have your MacBook.
It sounds like there's been a misunderstanding. You’ve received a refund for the AirPods that you didn’t pick up. The ₹8,000 is what you paid for them, so getting that back makes sense. Honestly, it seems like you haven't actually lost any money here – you still have the MacBook you ordered. Why expect more?
Honestly, it’s probably best not to escalate things too quickly. Just approach Apple customer service again with your concerns and see if you can get any further clarity on their policy – sometimes a second opinion can help!
Yeah, not sure why you think you should get more. You were refunded correctly for the AirPods. If you want the full refund, it might be more about negotiating or understanding their policies rather than taking legal action right away.

Thanks! I might try that first before jumping into legal options.
