Hey everyone, I'm new to PC maintenance and during my first attempt, I accidentally damaged a cable while working on my graphics card. I pulled it out with a bit too much force because it was stuck, and now I think it's ruined. I tried to fix it with some silicone, but I'm still not getting any video output after reconnecting everything. Any advice on what I can do?

It sounds like you might have pulled out the power connector cable for your graphics card. Check if there's a loose cable that should be connected. If your video card doesn’t need a lot of power, you could potentially use a splitter to hook it up. Mind sharing a picture of your setup?

The cable you damaged could be for the fan of the graphics card. Is the fan still working? It would help if you posted a photo here so we can see exactly what’s going on. Without seeing it, it’s tough to give accurate advice. By the way, I saw another post where you shared a picture!
