I need some help figuring out a program that got installed on my computer through a pop-up. My brother downloaded something and this random installation happened. It looks like one of those fake download pop-ups claiming the file is ready, but I'm worried it might be harmful. I'm looking for advice on whether I should be concerned or what steps to take.

It's tough to say without analyzing those files, but considering how it was downloaded, I’d be cautious. I suggest uploading the files to a service like VirusTotal for a check. Meanwhile, disconnect from the internet, don’t reset your computer, back up all important data, and run a virus scan using your antivirus software. After that, change your passwords from a different device and enable two-factor authentication. If things look really bad, a clean install of Windows might be the safest route.
From what I can see, it seems like it’s just a Python game and the installer for Python itself. I’d recommend running a virus or malware scan just to be safe, but it should be alright.
