Help! I’m Facing Display Issues and Random Freezes on My PC

Hey everyone, I'm having a couple of annoying problems with my computer that I could really use your advice on. First off, when I boot up my PC, I see some weird horizontal lines and glitches on the ASRock logo screen. After Windows 11 starts up, the display looks mostly fine, but there are still three faint horizontal lines that linger near the bottom.

The second issue I'm encountering is that my PC occasionally freezes for about 25 seconds before it restarts automatically. After the reboot, the AMD Bug Report Tool pops up, but I don't get any concrete error messages or a BSOD.

Here are my system specs:
- GPU: RX 6700 XT (ASRock Challenger Dual Fan)
- CPU: Ryzen 7 5700X
- Motherboard: ASRock B450M Steel Legend
- RAM: XPG 2x8GB DDR4
- Monitor: Gigabyte G27F 2 (connected via HDMI)
- OS: Windows 11 Pro, Version 24H2
- Build: 26100.3775
- Experience Pack: 1000.26100.66.0

I haven't done much troubleshooting yet, so I'm open to any suggestions on where to start. Thanks a lot!

The issues you're experiencing can sometimes point to a failing GPU or RAM. Running a stress test on your GPU and memory using tools like FurMark or MemTest86 could help identify if there are hardware problems. Also, check your physical connections to ensure everything’s seated properly.

Thanks, I’ll try running those tests and see what I find. I appreciate the suggestions!

It sounds like you're dealing with some frustrating issues! For the display distortion, it might help to check your BIOS settings. Sometimes resetting to default settings can resolve graphical glitches. Also, make sure your GPU drivers are up to date. As for the random freezes and restarts, running the AMD Bug Report Tool can give you some insights. Have you checked if you have any minidump files in C:WindowsMinidump? They could provide more info on the crashes!

If you find any dump files, make sure to zip them and upload them to a file sharing site so you can get some help analyzing them. Tools like catbox.moe or mediafire.com usually work well for that.
