Help! I’m Stuck on My BIOS Screen After Disabling Integrated Graphics

I think I'm in a bit of a situation here. I disabled my integrated graphics trying to fix an issue with a game I was playing, but now there's no display at all. After some research, I reset the BIOS by pressing the CMOS reset button on my computer, and ever since then, I've been stuck on a black screen with white text. What can I do to fix this?

Have you tried switching the display connection? If it's currently plugged into the motherboard, try connecting it to the dedicated graphics card, or vice versa. Sometimes just changing where you plug in your HDMI can make a difference.

Just a quick note - make sure your HDMI is connected to your GPU. A lot of folks forget and leave it plugged into the motherboard. That could solve the problem in an instant!

It sounds like you might have run into a common issue. If you don’t have a dedicated GPU, turning off the integrated graphics will definitely lead to no display. Since you mentioned you have an RX 9070 XT, make sure to check your BIOS settings. Try enabling legacy boot or CSM to see if that helps. On newer machines, you might need to switch to UEFI mode instead. It looks like your system just can’t find a boot device right now, so that might be the block.

That’s interesting, I actually have a similar setup with an RX 9070 XT, and I had to plug my display directly into the GPU to fix my issue. That fixed it for me!

Got it! I'm going to check my BIOS settings next time. Thanks for the tip!
