Help! Is My CPU Cooler Broken and What Should I Do?

Hey everyone! I might have messed up my CPU cooler while cleaning it with Q-tips and unplugging it, and I'm not very knowledgeable about PC building. Is it possible to run my PC without the cooler or heatsink? If it needs to be replaced, what would be a good option that fits my system? My motherboard is the X570-PLUS TUF Gaming. Thanks a lot!

It’s pretty rare to completely break a cooler, so check if it’s really done for. What CPU and cooler are you using? If it's the stock cooler for your X570 TUF Gaming, those are generally solid.

I think it's the standard one. If I need a replacement that’s affordable but still good, do you have specific recommendations?
